You know as well as I do that few and far between are the times when a person is on WL because they're "trying to help". The vast majority, they're there because they're worse players than everyone else in raid or they didn't want to put forth the effort to grind a boss and so they "volunteer to sit".
Lawler, the difference between showing up and working for a reward and showing up, sending a tell and alt tabbing to Hulu should be pretty obvious.
If a lot people (WHO WILL BE RAIDING NOT BOSSHOLEING) actually want something like this, then I'll take it up with Abe and Jack. Perosnally though, I think the idea is absurd enough I'm tempted to believe you're just trolling.
