Yeah. He's definately slowed way the fuck down. Two books in ten years is balls. It's probably my favorite series behind Wheel of Time. Maybe that's why I'm so impatient.
The other thing is I hope he doesn't start writing with an eye towards the TV show. That could lead to a serious downturn in quality if he starts holding back on shit because they're worried about the production costs of matching the book to the show.
Or the whole show could just turn out to be ass a la that shitty Sword of Truth show. Sole redeeming value: The chick who plays Cara is hot as hell and runs around in red leather all the time. Win!
