I just like AMD processors for budget builds like for siblings, can't beat a $40 Regor for a processor. And well their video cards are almost always a better deal and I've never experienced driver issues with Catalysts. Intel absolutely dominates the enthusiast and gaming CPU markets though, poor Bulldozer.
