Threading cables through walls isn't hard.

It's either super easy or a complete bitch. I've done hundreds. Back when I first started doing the installs, very few houses had the internal cabeling required for a cable modem. And, at that time, ATT was so hot to trot to get this new tech out into the world, that we actually would string a wire all the way through your house and install a new outlet right next to your computer.
