It seems like we should be minimizing some of the distance between where we tank the add and where Abe brings it to die.
Thats exactly it. Our positioning last night was ineffective and terribly inefficient.
At any given time their whole raid is just on the outskirts of the round puddle in the middle. They are not forced to play a retarded game of red-light green-light dps. The adds are always in range of the tank near Sara, and always in range of dps. We are tanking the adds MUCH too far away from the center and keeping them (and the raid) stationary. This is forcing Abec to take far too long pulling the adds towards Sara because he is forced to either run through clouds or take a ridiculous detour around them. In turn, this is slowing dps on the adds by a massive amount.
We need to be executing the fight in a similar fashion, rotating around the room to avoid clouds while remaining on the very edge of the puddle. Its not difficult to avoid clouds. Despite hearing my name a couple times last night, I never set foot in a cloud after the first couple of attempts. (I know where I was, and where the clouds were at all times. Who knows, eyes are probably drawn to the most easily spotted turkey who happened to be close to a cloud when some assclown ran through it. They do light up when triggered by a player, the only time I saw this not happen was if the cloud was already swelling by itself).
Avoiding them is so fucking easy. Theres little or no excuse for hitting them, and little or no excuse for why we cant have the raid just as close to sara as shown in the vid.
