I think another question that deserves to be asked outright is:
Are the core raiders going to be patient and willing to pretend HM content has never been cleared? Are they going to be accepting of the fact that currently, only about 60% of the raid is competent and experienced enough to get these HMs done?
Will we continue the trend of booting new recruits after a couple of fuck ups or give them an honest shot at learning the fights? I know there are a lot of us who know these HMs, have done these HMs and from experience feel that they arent complicated. (With our experience, no they arent). But in hindsight, we spent a lot of time on some of these encounters... far more than we are giving the new members.
As far as Im concerned in order to stand a chance at getting these encounters down, recruiting and keeping raiders, we may have to be more forgiving than we have been. It may very well require a change of attitude in some cases. A more productive approach, as opposed to raging on and belittling a new recruit would likely be more beneficial. Im not saying we need to be a bunch of peaceful hippies... but anger and dissent is contagious. Its clearly getting us nowhere fast. (Anyone who knows better, found to be screwing up repeatedly, still deserve rage though...)
Edit: Clearly fuck ups need to be pointed out... but it seems that a lot of the time, there is a whole lot of "fuck you suck" type comments being thrown around. Those comments more often that not feel unaccompanied by useful advise on how to correct the problem. Either that, or the useful advise is lost amidst the anger.
In a round about fashion these questions are being asked by this poll... but it may need to be spelled out very clearly.
