I would highly suggest setting a max number of attempts on already cleared hardmodes. Maybe the right people aren't on, maybe it was a nasty string of bad luck.. maybe a different person fucked up on each attempt.. but the focus should be on clearing all content. How to do that? Maximum amount of time on uncleared content. Obviously that piece of 239 loot will help out, but if it takes 3 hours.. it would have been better to spend time working on uncleared content.
Regardless of increasing raid time or not.. the focus should still be clearing new content. All of the content has been cleared by people less geared.. so getting that hardmode loot is nice, but not absolutely necessary to clearing the new content.
