So if I log in without my b.net account @gmail.com username it loads my right in, but then tells me the account has been merged to a b.net account and to log in with that name. So I don't need to reinstall, Blizzard just needs to pull their asses out of their heads. :roll:

It looks like the Battle.net login server is looking at both wow.exe and launcher.exe to make sure they're both the correct version. If one of them isn't correct (like the one the Repair utility downloaded), it'll give you the unable to validate game version error. This is being looked into.

If you do not want to use a third party download for the Launcher, reverting the game will clear it up.

If anybody is still having problems with game authentication after repairing, and your launcher was reverted to the old launcher, try overwriting it with the most current one linked here

how long did it take from 70 to 100% jack?

So after DL'n the "final part" I moved it into my WOW folder and tried to update it. I get a fucking error telling me to repair wow and and now when I try to DL from Blizz it says error download failed. Any ideas?

Better yet how do you revert the damn game?

except I downloaded the previous two parts of the patch as they became available weeks ago

ya i just hit 70% on the downloader and its saying "preparing to update...." and hasent moved for like 30min now
