I'd venture to say the average player has about 1 mil gold and rarely uses the AH. If anything they are all going to give up when they get to a2 inferno.

I barely have 250k.... I think the most i've had is 320k.

Apparently Melee just has to make super efficient use of the space. NFI how Ranged do it. Probably have to DPS him down before it becomes an issue.

The new approximate drop rates are as follows:

Hell – Act III and Act IV

•iLvl 62: 1.9% to 3.45%
•iLvl 63: 0% (no change)

Inferno – Act I
•iLvl 61: 17.7% to 23.9%
•iLvl 62: 7.9% to 12.6%
•iLvl 63: 2.0% to 4.8%

Inferno – Act II
•iLvl 61: 18.6% to 23.3%
•iLvl 62: 12.4% to 18.6%
•iLvl 63: 4.1% to 9.3%

Inferno – Act III and Act IV

Personally, I will likely farm Act II (which is what I do already). I can clear the place easily without a single death - whereas Act III/IV is just a frustrating repair-fest (but not really a wipe-fest, which is dumb).

Figures that the worst Act in the game is my best farm spot. =/

Yup. Each portal has 3-4 elites, then Zolton, then a quick run down the palace corridor, 1 more elite and then Belial. So two bosses (easy tank and spanks for me now), two guaranteed rares (guarding Zolton's body in the third portal), some 10-15 elites and done. Normally get 1-2 Goblins too. Takes me about an hour if I just run through the trash (the plethora of right angles in the three portals are great for losing mobs that try to follow - also <3 whirlybird mode) or 2-3 hours if I clear trash and clear the desert (and sub dungeons) that you start in. Sometimes I do the serious 2-3 hour clear just to shake things up even though the gold/hour ratio is not as good.
