I used to have a thing for crotch rockets. But a combination of getting older and having to ride one from Colorado to California totally changed my opinion. I still like the lines, but overall design is just poor for a motorcycle.

The other problem is that they're all pretty pussy. You just can't put much more than 850ccs into one and most are in the neighborhood of 250-600cc.

And they sound stupid too. What's the point of looking like lightning if you have the power of a moped and sound like a weedeater?

An R1, as well as most 2005 and up 1000cc sportsbikes make about 180 horsepower and weigh about 440 lbs. 0-60 < 3 seconds and top out over 185.

Snowmobiles are fun, but it's a bit of work to haul one out to somewhere you can use it. It's not like you can just ride it out your garage. Also, being cold sucks.
