connectivity may be interrupted tonight, we're getting ddos'd
Quote:A customer on your machine attracted a very large DDoS attack (a spoofed synflood, specifically), followed by another attack (a DRDoS) that caused some problems with TCP connections and increased load on the machine from approximately 10:40pm EST through 10:50pm EST, when we effectively filtered the attacks.
The bandwidth graphs for this machine suggest that there were also some other smaller attacks earlier tonight, from approximately 8:50pm through 8:59pm CST and 9:50pm through 9:59pm CST.
We will be keeping a close eye on this machine, on the lookout for further attack traffic so that we can quickly block it.
