So, I buy an auction and it takes my gold and I get no item. I bought 3 auctions over the past 30 min and haven't seen any of them yet. Anyone else getting this?

Also, why the hell can't you do friend list announcements in D3 like you can in WoW and SC2?

Doom counters i think only happens in act 4 Inferno when you try to kill an elite/champion pack for an extended period of time or something.
