from what i have seen the only horrible part is the rep system... im 100% sure c'thun trash guy came up with it... IM GOING TO LET U PPL DO 10 DAILIES A DAY FOR 10 DAYS SO THEN U CAN START DOING A MILLION DAILIES A DAY FOR A MILLION DAYS...

also if u dont like other aspects of the game u can play pokemon all day with dalaran gym leader mininolan and upcoming champion zoia

i cant speak to the difficulty of the raid that's out, but only 140 guilds have cleared the normal mode thus far so it looks a little bit harder than previous tiers.
outside of raiding vp gain is incredibly slow. i don't see how a casual could cap vp without doing dailies or any of the other shit they added, otherwise its like 30 heroic dungeons a week to cap vp

Granted I had a retard tank and healer in the group I was in there with last night, but it's harder than normal anything Cata so its a step in the right direction.
