80 draenai MM hunter on mug'thol

80 human paladin that was my main toon for most of the 3 years i've been playing. can play all 3 specs competently

5. We are a raiding guild and are usually in the top 100 guilds in the US; it is expected you have raiding experience and know ALL encounters and hard modes currently in game! In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter you have ever defeated and why?:
unfortunately probably 25 man yogg. I never raided seriously until lich king release as I just raided casually with friends and family who played game. Yogg took some coordination amongst a 25 man raid along w/ communication, something in which alot of players who play WoW lack.

6. Previous guilds/servers and reason for leaving, also include any references we may contact:
Nothing impressive here if thats what you are looking for. Orginally started playing WoW on Scilla, back when it was an exremely low pop server and guilds were terribad. At that time i raided w/ a guild named War Ward in which I had some friends/family in. Raided mostly Kara at that piont. Eventually got tired of Kara and moved to a guild named Untold and started raided some different content (ssc mainly). Took a break, came back guild was disbanned so i xfer'd over to mug'thol to link back up with some friends. We formed a guild named Wayward in which we recently decided to pull the plug on. I suppose if you would really like to a point of contact you could touch base w/ Altheus on Mug'thol who was our GM in WayWard.

7. It is assumed you will be available from 8-12 ST (Server Time is EST) Sunday through Thursday. If you can’t, please explain why you couldn't make our scheduled raid times (or why you even bothered applying):
Sun/Mon's could pose an issue I work those days. I could probaby swing Sundays if needed. Tue-Thu should not be an issue on most weeks.

8. Explain what specifically puts you at the top? We raid to be at the top and expect it of all our members. Do you take pride in topping meters, never letting the tank die, never pulling aggro, etc.? What separates you from the rest? Be specific, this will be a major indicator of the kind of player you are:
Meters should be banned from raids. Its always nice to see your name there at the top of the list but lets be realistic and the end of the day if its a wipe and the boss just kicked your ass what good does it do you? I do have 2 macros set up (something every hunter should have) for MD's, one goes to the MT always for initial boss pulls and the 2nd going to an OT for adds and hairy situations. I tanked for a majority of my WoW time and i've found that this has helped me player a hunter to control my aggro/threat and know just how far I can push that limit if needed

10. If you have thoroughly answered the following questions and you are confident you are what we are looking for, you have a good chance of being trialed, but we'd like to know why you want to join us? What made you choose us over the other guilds out there?
I am looking at returning home to Scilla and you guys are at that state of progression in which I am looking for. Your website also really caught my attn. It shows me that someone obviously cares enough about the guild to dedicate that kind of time to your site and the site seemingly has alot of personality in it telling me you guys know how to have a good time while getting stuff done

Not hit capped, Marks spec doesn't have Silencing shot. Since Silencing shot is not on GCD you can mix it in with other shots and do more damage. Yes silencing shot isn't BIG DAMAGE SHOT but in a fight you can probably use it 10-12 times.

The mad skill in 10m is good though, shows for the most part you got the basic mechanics of Heroic TotC down.

mm not sure you took into account my draenai racial of 1% extra HR which puts me over cap. As for SiL shot you make very valid point. I've adjusted my spec for it so I can play around with it.

yes I was briefly 2/3 arcane and 3/3 improved stdy shot while i was testing dps. in order to have picked up SiL shot I needed to either go 2/3 arcane or 2/3 imp. stdy. after testing on the dummy and running spreadsheets 2/3 imp stdy and 3/3 imp arc proves to be slightly better so my spec will now reflect 3/3 arc shot and 2/3 imp. stdy

why would you even use arcane shot if you have any arp gear..

its purely magic dmg and has such a shit coefficient

not to mention putting into your rotation can cause it or other spells to eat up your imp steady shot which should be reserved almost solely for your chimera shot

Yea if anything you shouldn't have any points in AS if you are ArP build. Since you get more damage increase from the ArP from SS and not AS, SS single shots get closer to AS. What you might not be factoring is the extra damage that comes from SS crits, which, when you're Marks, you should be around 50+% buffed, at least.
