Sup, I just found out that due to reasons beyond my realm of reasonable control, I might be a little late tonight. I will do all I can to barter for a few precious minutes with the bigwigs but I dunno if it will happen. If I am late, it shouldn't be more than 30 minutes. Of course the raid will be full by then and I'll spend the night /wristing, but alas.

Wow...Blizzard jews out and gives us THREE new bosses and a retooled Naxx for an entire expansion, then gives us "achievements" to tide us over for the next half a year until some actual content comes out. Then they nerf their own achievements so that the casuals can get those, too. What is the point of an achievement if there is nothing to achieve? Though honestly the nerf doesn't really seem like that much of a nerf coupled with the lifespan mechanic of the sparks now. Still, the fact that many other guilds HAVE done it means it's not impossible, and really had no reason to be nerfed. Typical Blizzard logic.

It went against what they want in raid composition. They said they don't want it to be liek sunwell again, where you pretty much HAD to have certain classes online to do a boss fight, and it fuckin changed almost every fight. To do 5 min maly, you HAD to have 2 dk's and 3 druids in raid. Now you just need 1 dk ( I think.. kill the first spark wherever it is, pull the next one to it. Kill 3rd spark wherever it is.. pull 4th to it. Unless they last longer.. Haven't really looked ALOT into it).

There's a difference between killing the boss and getting an achievement. You shouldn't be forced to stack certain things for completion, but if you're going for the gold star, it needs to be harder.

Also, now sparks stay up for 90 seconds from their spawn, including time after death. So, say a spark spawns and you kill it 80 seconds later, it will be on the ground for 10 seconds then despawn.
