Main raiding has become too much for me. There are IRL things I would really like to do that I can't because almost all of my free time is taken up with raiding. The only time I'm not raiding or working is for an hour or two after raid before I go to bed. For some reason it really seems tiring to be staring at a computer screen for 12-13 hours a day. I had been planning for a long time to cut back to raiding 3 days a week, but I don't even want to commit to that anymore. Being an unreliable raider is not something I could do. I'll still probably be playing quite a bit, I just won't be coming to main raids.
I really did not want to take the mace and stop raiding. When Jack finished his mace, Alyse had gotten banned and Lorake was not resto very often so I didn't really feel bad about getting the next one. I was already not happy with raiding but we were usually just going three days a week at the time so I thought I could live with that. Then we started pushing hardmodes and consistently raiding 5 days a week. I had gotten about 10-15 fragments by then and started realizing that I did not want to keep going. I talked to Abe about it and he said he'd leave it up to me. I should have just stopped taking fragments at that time but I thought it would be even worse to have wasted that many weeks of getting fragments. So I decided I would finish getting the mace and keep raiding hardcore at least through the next major raid content when the mace would still be the most useful. Anyways, I guess I'm just trying to say that I did think about it alot and didn't just think I deserved it regardless of it benefitting the guild or not.
Also I'm sorry for being an asshole to some people. I'm just really competitive and hate losing at anything. It's really not personal I just get a little annoyed when people fuck up constantly, talk alot in vent when they shouldn't, act like 12-year-olds, etc etc. Everyone wants to kill bosses, but I probably take it way too seriously sometimes.
