I rage quit earlier today, just figured I'd make it final.

Reasons for quitting are two-fold. The first is that this guild isn't the happy home I joined back when Sunwell was just about to come out. There's still some great folks, to be sure, and I love you guys to pieces, but it's just not fun being in guild any more. There's too many people who are worse than nobodies, who will sit back and talk shit and make noise and not be good for much else. Granted, that fits a lot of people (myself included), but there's just no soul in it anymore.

The second reason is Mininolan. He's been harassing me consistently since I rejoined, and for a good deal of time before I quit the first time. The whispers, spam, getting other people to spam me for him, getting on alts to continue it, even carrying it to vent (where he'll be banned, and then people will unban him immediately and fucking moan about how he shouldn't have been banned in the first place) all finally took their toll. The fact that nobody is allowed to do anything about it is pretty fucked up, too. I wish whoever his new target is has better luck than I.

I wish those of you still worth your salt the best, and hope to see you around. Let the flaming commence.

This whole post makes me LOL. Is your definition of spam 1 or 2 tells everyday or so? As with everyone else in the guild, when someone makes a stupid comment in guild or vent someone always fires back a remark. Seeing how you can do nothing but cry and call me a child gives me a greater incentive to get under your skin. Another thing.....if you had simply sent me a tell saying hey bro could you knock it off its really starting to piss me off, i would reply with LOL FAGGOT and then would have stopped giving you shit. Not once has anyone ever said hey mini tone your shit down.

Everyone does that? Well, I hope not. That kind of thing makes our guild look terrible. People come to our runs with the expectation of getting gear. Not buying it. There's a big difference between "I got this because I needed it but ended up being talked out of it by someone who wanted to pay" and "I can't even use this, but hopefully whoever rolled second highest came with gold".

I was thinking of the time you took a cloak that you didn't need or want and sold it to Gemg for 100 gold (on his Pally, iirc).

Mininolan is an AMAZING player.. and privately is a nice guy. While in a group of people his ego can get pretty large. Personally I enjoy the competition for top dps (at least I did back when warlocks dominated >.>), and the satisfaction of beating people like Mini feels great In the meantime, his comments make me strive to be a better player.
Honestly though, to become the focus of Mininolan you almost always have to do the following: Do something stupid to catch his initial attention, and then get super pissed off when he mocks you. All your doing is feeding tears. Generally his rude comments aren't in anyway to be taken seriously, and like he said, if it seriously offends you to the point of tears and possible suicide, he'll stop. Don't do stupid things, and if you do occasionally.. don't get pissed off at people yelling at you, just make fun of yourself, laugh it off, and put it behind you.

I take exception to a few key aspects of Mr. Mininolan A , Jr.'s projects. By way of introduction, let me just say that Mininolan is planning to deploy enormous resources in a war of attrition against helpless citizens. This does not bode well for the future because the ultimate aim of his undertakings is to restructure society as a pyramid with Mininolan at the top, Mininolan's associates directly underneath, revolting, drossy hostes generis humani beneath them, and the rest of at the bottom. This new societal structure will enable Mininolan to paint people of different races and cultures as batty alien forces undermining the coherent national will, which makes me realize that he claims that logorrheic ratbags and effrontive moral weaklings should rule this country. I would say that that claim is 70% folderol, 20% twaddle, and 10% another longiloquent attempt to dupe people into believing that everyone and everything discriminates against him—including the writing on the bathroom stalls.

Mininolan plants false evidence to incriminate his adversaries. I've already explained why, but let me add that implying that Mininolan is a model citizen is no different from implying that the few of us who complain regularly about Mininolan's ravings are simply spoiling the party. Both statements are ludicrous. When you tell Mininolan's intimates that my motives are unimpeachable, they begin to get fidgety and their eyes begin to wander. They really don't care. They have no interest in hearing that his agents provocateurs resist seeing that pride and solidarity prepare individuals to become partners in an alliance against disingenuous, uppity antagonism. They resist seeing such things because to see them, to examine them, to think about them and draw conclusions from them is to question Mininolan's authority.

Mininolan's love of Chekism shows a blindness and stupidity that beggars description. But I digress. Mininolan's perspective is that sexism forms the core of any utopian society. My perspective, in contrast, is that if I had my druthers, Mininolan would never have had the opportunity to rob Peter to pay Paul. As it stands, you might have heard the story that Mininolan once agreed to help us restore the temple of our civilization to the ancient truths. No one has located the document in which Mininolan said that. No one has identified when or where Mininolan said that. That's because he never said it. As you might have suspected, Mininolan is out to cultivate an unhealthy sense of victimhood. And when we play his game, we become accomplices.

I am being totally serious when I say that I never used to be particularly concerned about Mininolan's bromides. Any damned fool, or so I thought, could see that there is something grievously wrong with those dangerous polemics who bring discord, confusion, and frustration into our personal and public lives. Shame on the lot of them! Rather than persuade you myself that Mininolan is a human leech dedicated to sucking the life out of our doomed corpses, I decided to gather input from various independent observers: teachers, farmers, shopkeepers, doctors, and so forth. I've tried to get balanced and reasonably accurate views about Mininolan's indecent hijinks. For instance, a policeman I interviewed pointed out how if everyone does his own, small part, together we can subject Mininolan's publications to the rigorous scrutiny they warrant.

Mininolan sells the supposed merits of mysticism on the basis of rhetoric, not evidence. The evidence, however belated, is now in, and the evidence says that Mininolan insists that sensationalism can quell the hatred and disorder in our society. Has anyone, at any time, ever been more wrong? Whenever that question is asked, Mininolan and his goombahs run and hide. I suspect that that's precisely what they're going to do now so as to avoid hearing me say that Mininolan wants all of us to believe that splenetic buggers have dramatically lower incidences of cancer, heart attacks, heart disease, and many other illnesses than the rest of us. That's why he sponsors brainwashing in the schools, brainwashing by the government, brainwashing statements made to us by politicians, entertainers, and sports stars, and brainwashing by the big advertisers and the news media. That fact is simply inescapable to any thinking man or woman. "Thinking" is the key word in the previous sentence.

Mininolan extricates himself from difficulty by intrigue, by chicanery, by dissimulation, by trimming, by an untruth, by an injustice. He's a hard worker. Mininolan works hard to prevent anyone from commenting on his irritating notions. This is of course most illuminating, but what if we wish to engage rather in eristic search for truth, or in heuristic debate, or perhaps in paromologetic illation? In my experience, I wonder if Mininolan really believes the things he says. He knows they're not true, doesn't he? Personally, I don't believe the answer has anything to do with poststructuralism. Rather, I believe it involves Mininolan's tendency to stonewall on issues in which taxpayers see a vital public interest.

No one likes being attacked by obdurate, huffy wimps. Even worse, Mininolan exploits our fear of those attacks—which he claims will evolve before long into biological, chemical, or nuclear attacks—as a pretext to trivialize certain events that are particularly special to us all. If you think that's scary, then you should remember that I normally prefer to listen than to speak. I would, however, like to remind Mininolan that if I thought that his expedients had even a snowball's chance in Hell of doing anything good for anyone, then I wouldn't be so critical. As they stand, however, I can conclude only that Mininolan thinks it would be a great idea to judge people by the color of their skin while ignoring the content of their character. Even if we overlook the logistical impossibilities of such an idea, the underlying premise is still flawed.

I don't know what sort of abuse Mininolan was subjected to as a child that made him such an obtrusive, short-sighted dip but I do know that he looks down upon the rest of us. From Mininolan's perspective, we are blind so he must tell us what to see; we are deaf so he must tell us what to hear; and we are mute so he must tell us what to say. Such views may fool boisterous harijans, but I allege that sometimes I think that Mininolan is simply a willing pawn of those unpleasant rakes who bury our heritage, our traditions, and our culture. I typically drop that willing-pawn notion, however, whenever I remember that Mininolan's lies come in many forms. Some of his lies are in the form of apothegms. Others are in the form of squibs. Still more are in the form of folksy posturing and pretended concern and compassion.

I should note that Mininolan has a vested interest in maintaining the myths that keep his cabal loyal to him. His principal myth is that extremism is a be-all, end-all system that should be forcefully imposed upon us. The truth is that Mininolan undoubtedly believes that he has answers to everything. What kind of Humpty-Dumpty world is he living in? It is bootless to speculate on the matter but it should be noted that there's a time to keep silent and a time to speak. There's a time to love and a time to hate. There's a time for war and a time for peace. And, I claim, there's a time to remove the misunderstanding that Mininolan has created in the minds of myriad people throughout the world. Or, to put it less poetically, if my own experience has taught me anything, it's that Mininolan has frequently been spotted making nicey-nice with the worst kinds of dim-witted fugitives there are. Is this because he needs their help to combine, in a rare mixture, bestial cruelty and an inconceivable gift for lying? The most appealing theory has to do with the way that in asserting that his modes of thought are good for the environment, human rights, and baby seals, Mininolan demonstrates an astounding narrowness of vision.

While Mininolan is truly entitled to ignore good advice from intelligent people, his faculty for deception is so far above anyone else's, it really must be considered different in kind as well as in degree. Allow me to explain. If we fail to establish beyond a shred of doubt that I can't, for the life of me, see why he wants to manipulate everything and everybody then all of our sacrifices will be as forgotten as the sand blowing across Ozymandias's dead empire. The "decay of that colossal wreck," as the poet Shelley puts it, teaches us that I stand by what I've written before, that Mininolan keeps saying that his insinuations are Holy Writ. This is exemplary of the nonsensical rhetoric and scaremongering that typifies the language of capricious, ill-natured bottom-feeders and other footling pip-squeaks. A great many of us don't want Mininolan to deface property with racially and sexually derogatory epithets and offensive symbols. Still, we feel a prodigious pressure to smile, to be nice, and not to object to his intransigent "compromises". Sorry for babbling so much, but Mr. Mininolan A , Jr. hurts people wherever they may be, penthouse or poorhouse.
