Why immortal failed on Gluth

The three people in question HAD commanding shout and it didnt fade until they died.

It doesn't show any of them gaining or refreshing a commanding shout. I guess there could've been a dead zone in between Aragon and Abec that three people didn't get the shout.

Browsing the forums, several guilds are reporting weird behavior with commanding shout and Gluth's decimate.

See that's the question though, because the decimate mechanic is designed to drop people to 5% of their total health at the time of the decimate cast, not deal 95% of their health as damage. This is proven by the fact that no matter how much damage you do to the zombies before the decimate, even if you get them down to like 50%, they will still drop to 5% of their mAx health. Therefore, should commanding shout fail at the same time that Decimate is cast, those people w/o it should actually have more than 5% of their un-commanded health. But then again, we've seen blizzards designs fail again and again.

Commanding Shout was applied while in the tunnel before the boss was engaged. The 3 players that died were not in rage to get a rebuff of Commanding Shout. It appears Decimate uses the HP you start with. This might be something interesting to test with starting without fort/CS and applying it them once everyone has landed.

IMPORTANT THOUGHT I JUST HAD

If we get Immortal tomorrow, we need to do Malygos with 20 people afterwards. Because then, after reset, we can do 20 man Naxx/Sarth and 6 Min Maly and have the achievement done.

If we don't do either 6 Min Maly or 20 Man Maly tomorrow, we're another two full resets away from Glory of the Raider and MW will prolly beat us to it. Assuming we get Immortal tomorrow. If we don't, it doesn't matter.

Might even be worthwhile getting all of the 20 mans out of the way tomorrow.

It's still pretty hard to get a disk and get the KB as a healer, unless maybe your name is Archlight.
