Heroic Lich King Stuff

So, a friend of mine who has killed H LK mentioned that they sometimes have their warlocks summon infernals on the valk waves. The impact from the infernal summoning is an AoE 2 second stun that's off DR with everything. Sounds like it could be very helpful for us. It's a 10 minute cooldown though so it's obviously not something we'll use every wave.

He also mentioned that they have 3 pallies with imp HoJ ( two healers, one tank ). They follow up the 3 HoJ's with two holy wraths for their stun cycles for valks. I'm not sure we really have the DPS to make that work, but it's something to think about at least.

For slows they always use desecration or deadly brew from a rogue due to the fact that Valks speed up for a moment after they get off the frost trap before you can get another slow on them.



The infernal part is the only part I'd imagine we haven't thought about before, but I figured the other things were worth mentioning.

Earthbind can work as more of an "oh fuck" slow if needed, but it's radius is too small to be the only slow used, and the fact that it only pulses every 3 seconds also makes it iffy, if you get unlucky with a pulse time a valk can wind up moving at full speed for a second or two before it gets slowed.

Also, almost every slow in the game is 50%. The only slow I'm aware of that is higher then that is crippling poison which is 70%.
