WLPH DKP Policy
The DKP officer is Crucible.
Earning DKP
In a Raid
-Timed Awards of 15 DKP will be given on a half-hourly basis to the raid.
-Boss Kill Awards of 10 DKP will be given every time a boss is defeated to those present for the kill.
-First Kill DKP may be given out to people in the raid when we kill a boss for the first time. The amount is up to my discretion and will be affected by the boss difficulty and length of time we’ve spent on the fight.
-Random awards may be given out at random times for random things. In the past, we have given awards for Org Raids or pity awards when not enough people show to fill a raid.
-We occasionally will pay DKP for mats beneficial to the raid (ie: Fish Feasts). Announcements will be made when this option is available.
On Wait List
-If you are not a part of the main raid, but are geared, available and ready to go, you can get WL DKP which consists of the same timed awards as if you were in raid.
-To be added to the waitlist, wait until the raid has begun and then whisper Crucible 'wl add'. Note that if you join the raid you will be removed from the waitlist and if you leave the raid you will need to add yourself again.
-You must be reachable and able to quickly join the raid at any time. I do not care how you make yourself available. You can play your alt, you can listen to the raid in Mumble, you can leave me your phone number and go play X-box. I really don't care. However, if we cannot reach you or you cannot join raid when we need you, you will lose any WL DKP you would have earned that night. Repeated issues with this will restrict your ability to earn WL DKP at all.
Spending DKP
-Gear is awarded to the person with the highest amount of DKP and follows a main spec > off spec prio.
-Main Spec gear will cost you 1/2 of your current DKP total.
-Off Spec gear will cost you 1/8 of your current DKP total.
DKP Mod Options
The below whispers, sent to Crucible, have the following effects:
!standby add - Adds you to waitlist
!standby del - Removes you from the waitlist (joining the raid will also remove you)
!help - Lists the DKP commands with instructions
!dkp - Tells you your current DKP
!list - Lists the DKP of everyone in the current group
!listall - Lists the DKP of everyone on the list
!list and !listall can have class names added to the end to filter them. Example: !list hunter lists all the Hunters in the current group. !listall hunter paladin lists the DKP for all Hunters and Paladins on the DKP table.
