Avoidance rarely has anything to do with the content. It's not like we're saying this is add tanking on Anub. It's about where my mana is going. Shit's not unlimited anymore.

Just because you're not dying doesn't mean everything's roses. If you take less damage, I don't have to heal you as much. This leaves me free to conserve mana, help heal other targets or, if the difference is great enough, take one less healer and one more dps.

Again, the point is that you currently have ~1200 stat points sitting in Hit/Expertise that are next to useless 16 seconds into the fight.

Despite his gearing, Abec's one of the best warrior tanks I've ever played with. He's just overly excited about being back, and needed to catch up on current content. He's already shown it with how he's planning for Atramedes, but he theorycrafts in his own way, which is how he can most efficiently do his job for the raid.
