Do we want to officially make it Monday through Wednesday then? I have no problem doing so, the certainty could save time of those who log on and sit around hoping a raid forms on Sunday evenings.

If we don't mind being stuck @ 9 / 13 HM when 4.2 comes out, then 3 days is fine. We can probably make that then. But as it is, we start raids an hour late, people have to leave before the end of raids, and key ppl miss every other raid due to "unforeseen circumstances" so we really need the 4th day per week to get lucky enough to acquire a solid raid to even pursue progress.

I disagree, I've already seen a huge boost in performance since trying to get things back in order. Not that you guys weren't doing a well job of it before. Our raid on Tuesday and Wednesday was pretty damn good.

Well.. I don't disagree with that. Tues / Weds were good. But we're walking a fine tight rope. Very, very fine. Personally I would toss those 2 days up to the lucky raids that we need to get together. Assuming we can get that every time isn't going to work out, and that's what we need for 3 days a week. 4 days gives us a little more working room.

Dunno when Dots was moved to on call status.. but with Thorran gone now, we're down to 1 warlock (2 if Accused shows up). That's going to be painful for repeat kills on maliorak.

Well, you could make the argument that with a solid 3 day schedule that's set in stone, people would be more inclined to show up on the 3rd day as opposed to a 4 day schedule with 2 set in stone days and 2 50/50 shots.

I mean, that's the worst part of it IMO. Showing up and doing nothing for 45 minutes and then calling it. That's a gigantic fucking waste of my time. When we fill a raid, it's almost always quality. It's just getting to that point.

When we make 0 25 man attempts on H atramedes tonight and clear the place on 10m (hopefully) you'll see the folly of that argument.

As it is, no raid day is set in stone. We have missed raids on every single raid night. So it's not 2 set in stone 2 50/50.. it was more like 80% / 70% / 70% / 70%. That's just to get a raid goin. Quality is a different matter, and while this last week we've had quality... don't let that blindside you. How long did we keep putting off doing H maliorak because we simply had shitty ppl in the raid and the majority said "fuck this just clear it on normal we don't have XX here" ? That started before spring break month.

Anyway.. hopefully things change.

I'm not sure how tonight's outcome can be an example of the folly of a 3 night raid week. This week was a planned 4 night week. It's actually an example of exactly what I'm talking about. Do you know if there's going to be a raid tonight? I sure as hell don't. And given that fact, I'm much more apt to accept other RL plans.

Maybe it's just me. But when my Dad or a friend or someone calls and asks if I want to go do something on a raid night, my mental consideration is that there's a solid chance that if I tell them no, I'll show up to a raid that fails to get up off the ground. If I knew that there was going to be a raid for sure, I'd be much more likely to take a pass or push it to another day.

I see your point though. There is no guarantee even on a 3 day week that we would raid every day. However, I do think it would be more likely.

Honestly, I don't know what I would prefer out of the two. Really my preference would be a 4 day week with 4 raids. Here's hoping to that, I suppose.

if this was a 3 day raid week we wouldnt have cleared atramedes or nef (since planned day was sunday). Even still it was just a 10m. If we make it 3 days a week only, people are still going to miss what they're going to miss. Right now it may not seem like a big issue.. but when we're going to be doing repeat kills on heroic bosses as well as needing to progress on new heroic bosses, can't afford to just do 2 days a week on any week.

About done tho. Just wanted to raid casually this expansion, but I didn't think that was going to entail complete shit.
