is there a limit to the amount of gold you can transfer on one toon?

Yes, but you can condense gold into things like mounts/pets/boes/cauldrens etc, and may even make a profit depending on the market in the new server.

ive heard of people being banned for manipulating the economy ie buying shit cheap one server selling it big the next, might wanna be careful of that

i know i'm new but i thought i'd put up my thoughts on this because i was torn between staying and realm transferring...
If we transferred enough to raid wouldn't it be important to find a server where we aren't ranked number 18th for alliance 3/7h where we wouldn't get much good attention more of just bad's that couldn't cut it in the more progressed guilds... the server i was looking at was US-Mannoroth...
