I have been crunching the numbers to see what order suits us best after last nights' attempts and this is what we will do:
Ysera -> Alexstrasza -> Nozdormu -> Kalecgos
It was clear that we can't afford to lose Kalec since we can't assist target even if our lives depended on it, and with the buff active we even killed some blood waves inside 10s before they regenerated even once. This order will prevent us from falling behind in dps and minimize healer stress on risky stuff.
I figure that if we have to kill the extra adds on the final hand we can do them twice with no big deal and I rather avoid two meteor strikes since we wont have as much health when we lose Alexstrasza.
This is how it wil go down:
Ysera: business as usual, all buffs up
Alexstrasza: Business as usual, we lost Ysera's healing
Nozdormu: Now we lost 20% health, but our raid dps is still the same, we will kill the meteor before it lands so only healers should be ready to improve healing since ppl wont be able to take as many hits before dropping: I noticed that when we started spreading out raid damage dropped considerably so losing 20% health should not be a big deal.
New Adds: We will have to deal with the adds on the hand, these cannot be AoEd down but as long as everyone switches to a target they should drop down fast while also splashing damage to the hand. The fire debuff stack will increase raid damage so healers should be ready with a raid CD if necesary
Kalec: We now lost20% haste and the meteor will hit, however we are concentrating all the risk in a couple of minutes. The idea is to dps hand, switch to tentacle and as soon as meteor is announced we Hero: now we have raid dps as high as usual, since we only have this single meteor hit we can blow every single type of healer CD at the same time (Aura mastery, bubble tranq, healthstone, any tank raid wall we have and personal cooldowns). With hero up the meteor should die fast. The most important thing is that we get the bloods inside hero, that way we can still kill them in 10-20s and get back to hand dps ASAP. Save the other bubble, AM and tranq for when adds spawn and we take increased fire damage.
Overall i think the priority is to have hero up when blood comes out so if blowing it at meteor is too soon we will adjust hero time to later.
Phase 2: We recover all the buffs so having 20% haste + hero probably would cause more trouble than benefit so Im sure it is best used on that final claw.
During phase 2 the priority will be to use Ysera's dream as soon as you get the debuff to reduce damage. Other than that is just a "switch to shit as soon as it appears" then back to boss burn phase.
