Don't get why it's such a big deal anyhow. If Arby's was like, "You know what? We're not cool with single fathers. You should be married." I'd be like, "okay" and stop going there. Hell. I probably wouldn't even stop going there cause they make a damn good BLT. I certainly wouldn't be a fucking asshat about it. Who cares what causes a business supports? It's their money, let them do what they want. They provide a service. If you like the service, you use it. If you don't, you don't.

Honestly businesses should just stay as neutral as possible in political matters as their service should be all that matters but unfortunately we like our companies to donate massive amounts to organizations and be politically active especially since Citizens United.

Chik-fil-A donates a lot of money to organizations that oppose LGBT rights and they make bigoted statements only ever citing the fucking Bible. What if the owner if Blizzard came out and said he hates niggers today? Mormons believed African-Americans were cursed humans and banned them from priesthood until 1978 even! That might've been acceptable half a century ago but today people should be up in arms over such bigotry. In a decade or two from now we'll all realize how bigoted and hateful Chik-fil-A is and hopefully they'll cease to exist.

I still don't even understand how the most Christian part of the country is the most fag hating, shouldn't they have the best civil rights record given their entrenchment in the Bible?

This is actually the best solution by far, but at the moment civil unions are joke and have a small fraction of the rights of a traditional marriage. Many states don't even acknowledge a civil union as family and thus a homosexual can't even see their significant other on their death bed in a hospital.

Civilized societies call their significant others their partner not husband or wife. Fuck yo Bible!
