Since when I looked at your armory, you were logged in pvp gear, I'll refrain from making comments on your gemming and enchanting. That'll be next episode. You claim you have done all the bosses, but you lack the achievements for anything pre bc, and other than ssc anything past t4 content. You have not begun to do your hodir dailies, and while I understand that you just began playing again recently, I do not think that this is the correct guild for you at this time.

Your app was concise and clear, but not exceptional. Had you applied at another time, you'd have been given a much fairer chance to display yourself, but feel free to sign up to the pug by all means. As it stands, we are very close to the release of Ulduar, and this guild will be immediately focusing on hard modes, and as such we will not have the time to gear another player out to the level where they'd be able to perform to the level that is expected of them. In addition, we currently have 6 mages that are ready and able to raid in Ulduar, so even if you did get a trial run and were accepted, it would be a very, very long time before you saw any actual raiding. I wish you well in finding another guild to raid with at this time.

Achievements are totally inaccurate i am missing a lot of achievements, according to it i havent done many things that i know i have done. Basing the applicatoin off of that is a little harsh. Remember i stopped playing for almost a year and started back playing maybe a month ago.

Im tempted to agree with this guy.

I dont necessarily think thats what is happening here mind you, but I think too big a fuss is made over irrelevant missing achievements in general.

Showing knowledge of their class through proper enchants, gems and spec is far more indicative of a (potentially) decent raider than a flawed achievement system will ever be.

Achievements are a nice way to confirm that a potential recruit has done what they said they have, but not a guaranteed means of doing so.

Perhaps a rewording of the 5th application question is in order. Having them describe (in detail) their previous raiding experience might be more relevant than having them simply list what they have seen. Perhaps a question in the vein of; Describe your previous raiding experience. What was the most difficult encounter you faced? What hurdles did you had to overcome in order to improve yourself as a raider? Etc.

Meh... just a thought.

Ive killed Muru Pre 3.0 shit was easy i had to create a backpack for the rest of my horribad guild so that i could carry them all on my back.
