Align -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...Align.html
This will throw a graph paper style grid up on your screen. Only useful if you like making your ui nice and symmetrical.
ampere -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...mpere.html
Mirrors the "ADDON" button, in game. Allowing you to load/unload addons in game without the need to log out.
auctionlite -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...nlite.aspx
Basically a very lightweight auctioneer, (Price matching/sorting/batches etc) without all the fucking shit I never use.
cargbags -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...gBags.html
A bag framework. Requires a layout, but you will not find an all-in-one bag mod that uses less memory. (In this case, next to none)
cargbags pernoblis -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...bilis.html
A bag layout.
chatsounds -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...ounds.html
I dont like missing a whisper because my eyes arent glued to the chatframe. (I dont use prat, because it sucks)
clique -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...lique.html
Allows click casting. Most people Im sure are aware of this mod.
dbm -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...-mods.aspx
Like bigwigs, it is modular and
only loads on demand, when required. I havent tried bigwigs in a while, but I used to switch back and forth frequently. I found little difference in memory footprint between the two. As far as Im concerned the choice simply boils down to which one you like better. (but maybe I'll try bigwigs again, just to see if they improved it)
EDIT: Just installed bigwigs. It uses ~4x as much idle memory as DBM. Might test it again in a raid environment, but the idle use alone is enough to deter me.
dominos -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...minos.html
A barmod. Its not nearly as small as rActionbar but offers more flexibility.
doublewide -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...eWide.html
Adds a second pane to the quest log, because the default blizzard quest log is terrible.
easymail -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...osmos.html
Nice tiny mail mod in the same vein as postal. I would go insane if I had to manually open fifty pieces of mail at a time.
eavesdrop -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...sDrop.html
I stopped using the usual scrolling combat text mods, this is a nice alternative.
mbuffbar -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...fbars.aspx
The smallest buff/debuff display mod I can find.
ninjapanel -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...Panel.html
A data broker display addon. (Think fubar and titanpanel) Broker addons are growing in popularity and almost always use less memory than their fubar counterparts. I cant think of a single fubar plugin that doesnt have a broker counterpart at this point.
ochat -
http://www.ixo.no/git/oChat.git/
A no nonsense chat addon. (think prat)
omnicc -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...mniCC.html
Cooldown counts for your action buttons, items, spells, etc.
ora2 -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...-oRA2.html
Similar to CTRaidAssist. We dont seem to make use of mods like these in our raids, but I like having a maintank/offtank window as opposed to a bunch of assist macros.
ouf/nivaya - Unitframe addon that I covered twice already (actually a lot of these have been covered in my previous posts...)
outfitter -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...itter.aspx
Like itemrack, but has (easy) built in support for dual specs. Uses too much memory imo, but if you're constantly swapping gear its a huge time saver.
perror -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...Error.html
Gets rid of any error message you don't want to see. (ex; This spell is not ready)
picofps -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...coFPS.html
A broker addon for fps and memory usage
picoguild -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...Guild.html
A broker addon that shows online guild members
pmap -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...-pMap.html
I hate cartographer, but I also hate the default blizzard world map. This scales it down to about 75% and allows you to continue to interact with the game while your map is open.
pminimap -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...nimap.html
There are a slew of lightweight minimap addons. I just happen to like this one the best.
powerauras -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...assic.html
You can use this to track buffs, debuffs, procs... damn near anything you can think of. It will place user defined visual cues on your screen. (For example, on hitshade I use it to track things like eclipse, my dots and heroism, on my mage I use it to track things like hotstreak procs)
qbar -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...-QBar.html
This creates a bar solely for quest items. Usefull for daily quests and leveling. (Im not at all a fan of blizzards implementation of quest items on the quest tracker)
quartz -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...uartz.aspx
I jump back and forth from quartz and azcastbar. Azcastbar is smaller so if you dont care about quartz's dot timers and you like nice small addons use az instead.
quartz eclipse -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...lipse.aspx
This is moonkin specifec. Its a plug in for quartz to track the internal cooldown of eclipse procs.
questhelper -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...elper.aspx
If you're lazy, or like to level alts as fast as possible. I like this much more than carbonite.
ratingbuster -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...uster.aspx
This converts item values into percentages so you can very easily compare pieces of gear.
redrange -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...Range.html
Compatible with dominos. This will red out action buttons if your target is out of range.
sharedmedia -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...media.aspx
If you want to unify the look of your ui, or just pretty it up this has a lot of textures.
skada -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...skada.aspx
A modular and lightweight damage meter. It supports damage, healing, dps, threat and others. I particularly like it because unlike recount, it doesn't bog down your cpu. You can set it to display a threatmeter in combat, then automatically show damage after you are out of combat. Very cool.
smartbuff -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...-buff.aspx
Do you forget to buff yourself, your party, or your raid? (I can hear abe now... "CAN WE GET A FORT ON THE RAID?") This automates the process and lets you know if anyone is missing your buff.
smartdebuff -
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addon...ebuff.aspx
Basically, this is Decursive without the suck. Its also uses half the memory that decursive does.
tekability -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...ility.html
Adds durability to your equipment (in the character window). It will also display durability to a mod like ninjapanel.
tekjunkseller -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...eller.html
Automatically sell grey quality items.
tekkompare -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...mpare.html
Like Equipcompare only incredibly small.
teknicolor -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...color.html
This will colour (by class) names in your chat window if they are in your guild, or you have seen them. As I mentioned earlier, I dont like prat. Between oChat, chatsounds and this mod I have all the functions from prat that I want with much less memory use.
tiptac -
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...ipTac.html
Simple tooltip mod.
Assuming questhelper is turned off (which it almost always is) my ui use less than 9MB, even during raids.
