Sorry guys but I've decided to take some time off from the game and leave guild. One reason is because I don't have time to raid anymore due to class schedule and work and my family obligations.

Scoorp sat here day in and day out, over 30+ hours on one boss (not to mention the countless hours he spent in PTR), wiping and wiping over and over again through all the aggravation.

Thats part of being in a raiding guild unfortunately. I've been in other guilds and I've had to sit out just as much if not more than a lot of our players that have been here a long time. Every guild you'll ever be in will have wiping, aggravation, and it takes time to complete encounters, this isnt chutes and ladders.

He is an excellent player. He messed up ONCE in one night and was removed from the raid after all the time and dedication to this guild. I have seen over and over again people fucking up all over the place and never NEVER seen anyone removed from a raid.

No doubt, I agree he is a good player. When we see someone dying multiple times however over and over again, and every time its the same people you have to ask yourself why are they dying, this case in particular, mages have an immune to all damage button that should be used at some point. I myself am using all my cooldowns throughout that fight on multiple phases and it should be the same for other classes if applicable damage is being incurred.

He was told it was due to healing issues...Okay now...common sense...healing issues REPLACE A FUCKING FAIL HEALER!

Healing or not, the class has a save me button that can be used to avoid death on the napalm.

I don't want any part of any guild that treats its dedicated players like this.

Getting demoted to friends doesn't really mean anything, if you're a good player and you're dedicated enough it shows and you'll easily get a re-promotion. Its more or less a way to fix shit. I've demoted a lot of people to friends and two days later they are right back to where they were.

I wish you guys luck and hope none of this happens to any of you other players that dedicate your hard earned spare time to this guild.

I don't pride myself in "downing the next boss" because it's a FUCKING GAME and what you do on here does not reflect real life....I have a life and have other things to do besides sit my ass on the computer ALL night long, but I know when something is shady as fuck and totally and absolutely uncalled for. Anyone can say what they want, but in the end I still could care less about what people say about me in a fucking game.

Then why did you sign up to be in a raiding guild? This is very conflicting. We told you what we expected from ALL our players, how we behave and act and you both agreed that this is something you wanted, now you're going to throw out the "I have a life" crap that people use to signify a lack of ability the majority of the time? This 'game' is more of a hobby than anything else, you dont spend 20+ hours a week in a 'game' and seeing it as such is just ludicrous for any avid player that would want to sign up for a raiding guild.

In the end I'm sorry to see you both go, I hope you guys find what it is you need in your next endeavor and you always have a home here if you want it.

Scorp got demoted because he stopped showing up. That's what happens when you suddenly vanish for two weeks during brand spanking new content in a raiding guild. It would be completely different if he'd said to someone that he had some RL to deal with and would be back. But he didn't say a thing to any one. For all intents and purposes it looked like he emo'ed out because we replaced him once.

Simply vanishing or having your wife come and post for you is not the way to handle an issue. If he had a problem with the night he was replaced, he should have spoke to someone about it and we would have gotten it sorted out. He could have explained his frustrations, we would have explained our concerns and the next day he'd be back in raid - I guarantee it. Multiple people in this very thread have said that he's a good player, including officers who would invite him to another raid in an instant.

But instead, we have this.

I dont even know what to say to this. I've explained to you that scoorp being replaced for one night was not meant to be a permanent removal from our raids, but apparently you cant understand that. I told you that if he logged on for raids, he would have gotten an invite, but he didnt log on for over a week, hence him being demoted.
