I love how quick people point fingers everywhere but themselves

Moonkin wont knock someones dps up from 2k to just under 4k. Looking for ways to exploit the game to get a druid doing 11k dps is stupid, go try that elsewhere. Dead dps = no dps and that has and still is a very common problem, from standing where you're not supposed to be, to pulling threat, to just being an idiot.

Abe can u please get better geared so I can spam Flash of Light and judge light on Patchwerk instead of spam Holy Light and judge wisdom?

I refuse to believe every one of our raiders research their class and I simply stated I expect them to. I really don't understand how "Gear isn't an issue, it's lack of players doing research and being motivated if you ask me" is turned into "im easily the best person in the guild and you guys aren't even trying" and I don't understand what's with the "gtfo" comment. Do you feel threatened because somebody is calling people on their shit? Or do you really think I'm just stroking my epeen when I analyze WWS?

With the WWS in question (the guild w/ feral druid doin 11k dps), and several WWS dps comparisons, not a single dps in this guild has exceded, matched, or even come within a couple hundred dps of the top people in their class. Thus, when you said

, there really isn't an exception to what you said. You went on to say that dps needs to step it the fuck up, without specifying "some, handful, a few", implying the same modifier as before.. aka everyone. Perhaps you did not mean it like that, but you certainly said that.

Again, since you misunderstood my first statement, gear isn't the issue it is player's doing their research and being motivated that is the reason why some players (NOT EVERY PLAYER) are performing worse than equally geared players of their class when I analyze WWS.

Again, in case you missed my first comment, not a single dps in our guild matches the dps of the same class / spec in the top guild's WWS. I don't see how you can say "gear isn't the issue" then go on to say "worse than equally geared". If you compare Thorran's dps (usually our top dps and imo he researches his class extensively and is very motivated) in http://wowwebstats.com/vai5m2iottlh1?s=428574-473385, to that of the top hunters, he's nearly 1000 dps behind many, many hunters. As of 11/30 (3 days before this wws), Alkis did ~5300 dps (compared to Thorran's ~4500 dps). Alkis is STILL in 4 pc t6. RNG aside, that's a big jump.

Apparently you skipped that part of my previous post or misunderstood it as well, because their tanks only took 11% less damage per second than ours, and their paladins were using judgment of light as their top heal. If you really want to bitch about my healing or want a better comparison look at other guild's WWS for Patchwerk.

But, while dps is relatively easy to compare cross guilds, I fail to see how you can say the healing in guild (namely yours, as you tend to be at the top) is near or even higher than top guilds using the same judgment as you do for dps. To judge it as you are, in the WWS at the beginning of this thread, you did do more hps than the top effective pally, but did nearly 1000 less hps than the other pally. To look more realistically, in that WWS, 2 of 7 healers were at 75% overheals, and 2 were at 90% overheals. For our WWS, not 1 of the 7 healers was above 75% overheals. The most effective pally was spamming FoL instead of HL. Evidence that he didn't neeed to spam holy light to keep the tanks up. To me, that shows the healing was very, very lax on the boss.. they had plenty of room to do more healing and more than likely didn't even need the 4 healers doing ridiculous amounts of overhealing for the fight.

You say we're doing it with 5 healers next week, but guilds are already doing it with only 3 healers. If it's not because our healers aren't up to par with the healers in those guilds (in the same way our dps isn't up to par), why the lack of confidence?

Again, it goes back to what I said before. Healing is a very hard thing to compare when it's not in the same raid. You say our tanks DTPS is rivaling that of top guilds, yet our tanks have said that they need more gear to do what the tanks in top guilds are doing (i.e. 3 drakes). Not even worth checking.. if it's true they have less DTPS and our healers can't keep them up, then that's the healers' fault and contradicts what you said.

In the end.. if you didn't mean it to be a bitch, then ignore most of it. But I don't think that's the case. Personally I feel like we are progressing fine, and attribute our lack of being top 50 or 100, and lack of gear to reflect directly upon what I brought up shortly after expac. Some people wanted to take their time leveling (yourself included).. and that's cool. You need to realize however, that that's why we aren't in the very top at the moment. Like I said, we missed out on a week / 2 weeks of raiding because people wanted to take their time leveling. Again, the missed raids will fade over time and become insignificant, but right now.. they are very significant. I would attribute our lack of performance directly to that and some issues with raid buffs missing. It will inevitably get better as time goes on and the missed raids fade, the missing raid buffs can be fixed pretty much immediately (as long as we don't do things like refuse to take the boomkin in guild when he's the only druid who can take the 90% leather drops, not to mention provide missing raid buffs).

I'm not saying we should completely overlook everyone's performance, but to target all of the dps (which yes, you did.. please don't make me explain that again :/) and say they aren't performing up to par is ridiculous. If you want to call individual people out, go for it.

Since you are so convinced that our DPS is all great without any exceptions. I'll talk to other DPS and officers and do more research and link specifics and exceptions on WWS, because we might as well use them while we have them, thanks Entrapment.

I just hate seeing equally or worse geared guilds with similar raid comps out performing us, since apparently only DPS matters on WWS

WWS records are one of my only motivations left in raiding until Ulduar.

Alyse was judging light.. in any case, if it succeeded for their guild what's wrong with it? Healing is healing, the fact is, the pally topped your hps and the tanks didn't die. Please explain why you would not judge light if it's more effective than not judging light. Sorry I haven't researched the pally class so intricately to know casting rotations and what's most effective in certain cases.. but then, you haven't done the same for warlocks. Please don't belittle me for what you don't do yourself.

You were the one that said our DPS is all bad without any exceptions (you attempted to smooth it over by saying "excluding a handful of players", yet there was not a single dps that fell into that handful.. aka no exceptions). I merely said this isn't true, many of our dps are motivated and research their class, are performing decently with the gear and buffs they have, and said you should point out individuals rather than say every DPS is bad and needs to "step it the fuck up"
