Im fucking annoyed because gear was one way to assert and show raiding stature. A visible indicator that you are a raider, that you have conquered content others cant. Perhaps it says something about my personality, but raiding for nothing other than self-satisfaction doesn't cut it for me. If Ive cleared the hardest tier of content... I want people to sit in awe, inspecting my glorious gear and feeling jealous while I run around in IF. Give Gladiator mounts for Conqueror Badges, or the best pvp weapons with no rating requirement and see how many people cry foul. Its basically the same concept. (Okay, okay, there are raiding exclusive mounts.
