Archlight, go play on afksharkweek.com. No one here really cares about Aion, and even with WoW in its current state 99% of players would rather play it. Go away.

Sharf, I dont know where you're getting this idea about sunwell being perfect. It was far from it and I had heart attacks every night putting raids together because we may or may not have enough. I had to come in on rakimacy and abecx MANY times just so we had enough healers. Nothings changed, but I guess looking back it may look different.

Summer raiding has always been like this, people quit and come back usually August is about the time things pick back up. I'm looking at a couple of guilds to merge and grab their best players to bring into ours. I'm not going to force anyway to play, but patience is always a virute. You don't just throw your hands up when things don't go right. Mark Cuban is STILL trying to get the Mavericks a title. Being in a guild is dealing with the good and bad, and I'm in it for the long haul.

The majority of class leaders don't bother recruiting which is our main problem.

It is relevant because you can't compare a 226 to a 239 cloak.

I could be wrong but I think his point was more the fact that people pass up upgrades because they want to whore dkp for that 'big' item they want

The way I see it he's just mad at rng since loot he wanted didn't drop. He said one person rolled on a bad melee cloak compared to seven people rolling on BiS cloak. Can't compare a 226 cloak to a 239.

I agree but only on that point. The other stuff talked about is valid. I've tried to never play this game for loot because you cant control random loot tables. I went without a bulwark for MANY months and I never got that upset over it, hell I still dont have a thunderfury.

But the other points he's right about, we had 9 raiders not show up today which is really depressing because i know we can kill Mimiron this week after some 35% attempts hitting enrage.

I do apologize for being late tonight and not showing up for yesterday and the previous days, I've been contemplating on whether or not I want to keep playing this game and I came pretty close to just saying fuck it because of how lousy this game is becoming. I've decided not to quit because i do still have fun raiding with this guild and we do have a good time while still getting the job done, but I don't like the idea of raiding when, as sharf mentioned, we have to replace players constantly with some random person we invited to guild and they don't even know what the fuck they're doing so they mess it up for everyone else.

Those few people that we have to invite to raid corrupt us more than they help. Wiping because they make small stupid mistakes makes everyone lose focus and that makes them make small stupid mistakes. Granted sometimes we do get some good players once in awhile that stay really focused and don't make the small mistakes that wipe us, our guild has way too many people who don't even take raiding seriously which just spreads to our serious raid members. Every time i log on we have 7 new guild members as friends ranks or trials babbling about retarded shit and it makes our guild seem like were teeming with dumb asses, in my pov at least.
It's like Lorake said, for every person we get who is competent we get 5 dumbasses who screw up our raids.
