What raiding means to me.

We're higher rank in the world than we've ever been, higher ranked US than we were in Sunwell. Are the normal modes hard? No, I lead a PuG through it. Sunwell bosses are similar on difficulty as Hard Mode bosses like Mimiron and Freya, but not all Hard Modes. Hodir and IC Hardmodes are somewhat BS to a degree, but I guess I can equate healing IC Hardmode to healing Brutallus.

You all need to realize we won't be picking up A+ members always either, but sometimes it takes some yelling and some work to turn the bads into goods as well. Don't be quick to boot people who listen but aren't great. In terms of progression for a more casual, relaxed environment, you guys think too low on how well you've done. However, some of you hold expectations of this guild as a super top end raiding guild of professional gamers, and you need to realize we're not that. We're good, but we obviously can't equate to some of those world rankers who can control their toons like the back of their hands. You should be in this guild because you enjoy the casualness of the environment, not because you want to be super top tier world ranked player.

So quit your bitching nancy. I ducking doubt most of your friends can do the hard modes we do.

the thing about being higher ranked is I still feel like we can do better. When we dont kill the hard modes we've killed before it hurts morale and snowballs, we have 3-5 new people in the raid every week and 90% of them suck ass, we srsly need absorb a small high quality guild, we shouldnt have that much of a problem being top 5 on the 6th best US realm.

maybe we just need to fix recruiting, idk how others do it but what I do when i get new DKs is tell them exactly what to expect and exactly what their roles will be, but i havent had a chance to see how Panix is doing since i kind of disappeared right after i invited him.

Don't disagree, but that's the spirit of progression. You progress because you believe yourself to be better, and capable, of doing harder content. The minute this game goes "O let's do this o sup we're done" for anything in the game is when the game is too casual. I think going forward on bosses even after losing a few people is needed though, because we need to become better at playing our own toons, such that the mistakes of others do not affect our own play or how we do content.

I had a long post for this thread, but i decided tldr would be better.

Hard modes are boring copypaste of normal bosses.
Hard modes with trials are boring and frustrating. The more trials you bring to hard modes the more people like myself get bored of wiping on shit we've killed before. And then your regulars quit. lol, vicious cycle.

Naxx sucked. Ulduar sucks. Coliseum will suck more than both of them combined, and I don't like my class changes.

Panix didn't know which cds to use on iron council when having to deal with two fusion punches and didn't understand he was a backup tank on thorim.
