So, I realize that my attendance has been kinda sketchy lately... I have been bad about letting the guild leaders and members know what's up in my life right now.
Two weeks ago, my grandpa, who bought a condo and was fixing it up for me to live in, had chest pains and ended up needing a quadruple bi-pass. Instead of coming home from vacation with a place to live, I came home to a grandpa who needs babysat at all times and a condo that was in no way ready to live in. The past two weeks, I've spent working, taking classes, painting, fixing plumbing, moving and babysitting my grandpa while he recovers.
The past two days have been a load of bullshit that I expected from Time Warner but had no control over. My appointment to get internet installed in my new place was supposed to be in the afternoon between noon and 5, plenty of time to be ready to raid. The mother fucker showed up at 7:30pm and took and hour and a half. He tested the internet on my piece of shit old laptop and it worked fine. He leaves, and I set up my wireless router and my desktop computer can't find an IP address. I called every techno nerd I knew to help me out and still didn't have internet. I gave up yesterday and today, I spent all night after I worked until 6pm fighting with the router and when I called Time Warner customer support, turns out they set the modem wrong and it didn't know how to talk to routers or any other computer besides the laptop they tested it on. What a load of bullshit. I hate Time Warner but my condo people won't let me use anybody else.
So, I'm sorry for not being at raid and I'm sorry for not going over to a friends house to post on the forums what the hell was going on but to be honest, I didn't think of it at all. I'll be better at posting and being at raid.
