Yeah, I caved and got back into MTGO drafts. I've been sticking to M14 since I’m completely unfamiliar with the other blocks. The next set is the start of a new block, right? Anyone know when that’ll be out?

So I finally got a Beta key a couple weeks ago and have been enjoying it. It really is far far far less complex than MTG, but is still pretty fun. One big difference that no one's mentioned in this thread is that you cannot act out of turn. It completely removes countering and instants from the game, which nerfs a lot of the complexity. However, at the same time it is a bit more relaxing not to have to wonder about your opponent doing anything during your turn to ruin your plans.
So maybe it's not a dumber version of MTG. It's just a more casual one. More relaxing.
The Arena mode is a psudo draft format that's not quite as big of a rush as MTG's but is still solid. And much easier on the pocketbook. It's really easy to roll winnings and quest/achievement rewards into continual free play in the format.
One disappointment is that there's no trading. Anyone know if there are any plans for this in the future?
