we don't have an actual strategy for healing baelroc. here's what we currently do.

first shard: a, b, c on tank; d, e, f on shards
second shard: d, e, f on tank, a, b, c on shards
other shards: just randomly heal shit

it's working "okay" so far. i realize that we can improve on that if we have very disciplined rotations, but the buff timer, the shard timer, and the boss ability timers are fairly short-ish and we don't have the will or the organization to choreograph some healing square dance formation so that we can rotate raid cd on tanks and only heal with 4 healers or however the good guilds do it.

(also i'm not really sure i agree that baelroc is a good fight to compare max dps on. it's mechanically simple, but you have to be very attentive on the ground around you instead of on your dot timers etc, since either you need to move away from shards, or you need to move yourself such that you are the x-th closest person to the shard, and you have to do that like every 10-15s if you are one of the shard tanks.)

It would work much better when all of us get used to counting off (after the 2nd shard) the last few moments of that debuff, and putting in as many stacks before a blade change. Still getting the hang of it meself, anyone who gives more of a fuck can easily use an addon to make a timer for it.... but thats just nigger talk.
