I had a paladin I leveled to 80 on Scilla, but deleted her. I had a 75 shaman I brought when I transferred to Scilla, but deleted her. I can't keep an alt. I just haven't found the right race and class I want to level. Maybe Cataclysm will open doors.

*** I'm not new to dps, but it isn't my strong point and my reason is I've always played double Restoration. (I've never had to change specs for a raid, even though I don't mind.) However I'm still learning the niches. I at least have the basic understanding of knowing when to switch targets, pop cool downs at the right times (via Heroism/Bloodlust, trinket procs, or another type of buff), knowing the in and outs of statistic caps, etc.

Holy Hell. You're like the Furly of Healers.

I haven't fully read your App yet, just skimmed and picked certain things that were important to me. I will read it more and give you a definitive answer in the next couple days, but I wanted to pop in to let you know it was being considered and to bring up a couple of my initial concerns.

Your progress is a little lacking. This, in itself, is not necessarily a problem. There really is only one fight in this entire game that is important to us right now. And that's Heroic LK. It looks like you killed NM LK reasonably early on and you don't seem like a person who would have trouble picking up on the few HM changes. But what your recent break from raiding does mean is that you are slightly undergeared. Our main raiders got rid of their 251s long ago and are in various stages of their BiS sets.

The other thing that I need to bring up is the position in raid that you would fill. We highly encourage our members to be able to fill as many roles in a raid as their class allows. At the least, every Healer should be able to switch to a DPS spec that they perform well in. By your own admission, this may not be the case for you.

Further, the Druid situation in our guild is kind of unique. You may not be called on for every raid. Would this be a problem for you? As I'm sure you've noticed, we do host a good number of very progressed PUGs. You're free to join any one of those any time one fires off and you're unsaved. In fact, PUG running may be your home in our guild for a few weeks while you gear up. If you do sign up for a PUG, please let me know so I can make sure you get a spot. Many of them are full to the brim, but one of the main purposes of their existence is for trials.

You are already on our realm and already unguilded so there's no harm in accepting you into the guild right now. Ask myself or any officer for a trial rank invite. Anyone besides me will probably respond with a "Who the fuck are you?" Just point them to this post.

There are a few other things at play here that are beyond your control that I need to figure out. But feel free to join our guild and gear up in our PUGs while we make a decision whether to give you a full raid spot.

BTW Friday PUG sucked this week because we have been poaching ppl for main raid and are missing peeps, he can definetly get several HM pieces there next week and I'm sure we can get him a spot.
