i got grim toll this last week so being over hit cap atm is a temporary thing, got it from naxx and went straight to farming frostsaber rep with my pally so i havn't been at an AH or bank for the past couple days, when raiding on sunday i'll be picking up my consumables and such from the AH as well as new gems and respeccing, so without that 84 rating i was almost exactly at hit cap. so its not that i don't know how to gem merely what i was doing at the time, i should've stated that in my app. sry =P
and response to your 2nd reply i was merely stating thats when i was leading my class, not that i'm special because i can heal as well as dps.

and response to your 2nd reply i was merely stating thats when i was leading my class, not that i'm special because i can heal as well as dps. Again, hit cap isn't important for ret paladins; why would you even take Grim Toll? Given the Grim Toll is a horrible ret paladin trinket.
If you can't immediately put the best gems and enchants possible on your gear I don't see what would warrant the delay since I still want to know why you'd ever itemize for hit 
Ok you said u can heal and DPS, that's only two thirds, can you tank as well? If so link all off spec gear, hopefully you've saved it to a database online, if not just link WWS/WMO and your experience.

Well first ive always liked to be at hit cap because a miss is a fricking bitch and i took grim toll because i had meteroite whetstone in its place, which i still use for 10mans because of its crit, but with raid buffs in 25man i get past the point where the xtra crit does nothing so i switch it out which is what i was gonna do, which is only reason i itemized hit b4 i got it. I can tank as well but i havn't done it all of wrath and my prot set isn't complete yet. If you really want to see how good i am just try me in a trial, would make it a lot easier,because these questions sure they help but really best way to see would just to see me in a real raiding situation to see my performance. You can ask frostitude and röj i was just in a 10man maly with em i'm not just another scrub.

There is no fucking crit cap!
There is a hit cap, it's 8%!
In a raid you have 3-4% more hit and 3-10% more crit typically from raid buffs
So your telling me that having fucking 13-14% hit rating is better than more crit? or I never even mentioned itemizing for crit, I said, just like every ret pally should know like the Bible, itemize only for STRENGTH!
Gemming hit as a ret paladin is as bad as gemming spirit as holy. The fact ret is an offspec of mine and I pointed it out is concerning. I'm being nit picky because I only want players that know this class in and out; I'm sure you can perform well in the current content, but I'm sure there are dozens of ret pallys who can perform as well and actually understand the mechanics of all three specs.

First i know there is no crit cap, its just after 45% the extra crit rating hardly does as much as b4 the 45%, so being hit capped helps, what im running at right now i how i do most raids so u can take a look, being hit gemmed was becuz my crit was so high so i thought i'd hit cap it, but ya i fixed it up a lil, but the main thing is gear can be fixed actual raiding experience and personal playing skills can't be, and with the thing with roj and frostitude i wasn't saying i'm special because i know the content at this point, the point was i'm above most people when it comes to w/e im doing raiding, eg drakes on maly stacking. I understand how my class works and what is best for it for every spec. When it comes to raiding i'm one of the first to know the shit and be the best at it so thats why i apped to ur guild in the first place because it seems most your guildies are the same, i'm just looking for a good guild to actually get somewhere in ulduar so if your willing to give me a try great, if not oh well, i'll look elsewhere, i also am good buddies with quite a few people in the guild so i think i'd fit in good from what i hear your guilds like.
