1. Your age, gender, and time played: Male, 24, 149 days played (43 @ 80)
2. List any alts and off specs you have gear for AND CAN PLAY COMPETENTLY: My current offspec is pvp SV, but I can change it for the needs of the raid. I also have a Frost DK Tank with near full BiS from T7 content, and my Holy Paladin which a few of you have raided with during your alt runs.
5. We are a raiding guild and ended TBC top 200 US; it is expected you have raiding experience and know ALL fights you will be brought to. In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter you have ever defeated and why?: I didn't have the pleasure of raiding Vanilla WoW, so i'll have to say Sarth 3D. As with most "end of tier content" bosses there were plenty of things happening around you which you have to look out for. Altho most fights become fairly simple once you work out the mechanics of their strategies.
6. Previous guilds/servers and reason for leaving, also include any references we may contact: <Order> during Tier 4 content in BC: Guild disbanded when too many members found Hydross/Lurker too difficult to comprehend.
<Redemption> Currently still a member, but due to lack of attendance in the past few weeks, i'm looking for other options.
Miia(Red's GM)
Sabereynn(Mage officer)
Aseic and Mikaelo could also vouch for me, altho I may not want that...
7. It is assumed you will be available from 8-12 ST (Server Time is EST) Sunday through Thursday. If you can’t, please explain why you couldn't make our scheduled raid times (or why you even bothered applying): I currently have no reasons I would have to miss any raids.
8. Explain what specifically puts you at the top? We raid to be at the top and expect it of all our members. Do you take pride in topping meters, never letting the tank die, never pulling aggro, etc.? What separates you from the rest? Be specific, this will be a major indicator of the kind of player you are: I always strive to push for topping the meters. I know my class well and nearly all aspects of it, and I always try to keep up to date information on ways I can do even better.

I have all my shots both keybound and available to be clicked if needed in high movement situations. Rarely used/situation abilities are clicked.
10. If you have thoroughly answered the following questions and you are confident you are what we are looking for, you have a good chance of being trialed, but we'd like to know why you want to join us? What made you choose us over the other guilds out there? I have heard many good things about you from a few of your current members. You keep things fun but still strive to progress far in all new content.
11. Add anything else you think we’d find interest, such as you’re a GM, you recorded WWS for your old guild, you were an officer or did assignments in a past guild, tracked DKP and distributed loot, or anything else noteworthy. I was the hunter class officer for both of my previous guilds. For redemption I both lead a majority of the raids, giving out assignments and strategy explanations. I was also the Master Looter for nearly all of our raids.
Number of DPS who popped a pot during some period of the fight - 11
Number of people who were missing flasks - 3
Now I don't know why people aren't using stat boost pots during a fight. Thanks for fucking us over on the achievement. It's because you all believe you are too badass to flask and pot that we failed at hardmode. If we're failing hardmodes due to players not trying, I'm going to kick people. If I can't kick people, I'm just gonna gquit, because failing on hard modes due to lowballing is horse shit and I don't feel like wasting my time due to people grabassing hard modes in hopes for hard mode loot.

nope, just ready to bring the pain
My name is Jeff and I’m a 23 year old dude who’s played since December 08.
I have duel spec and can play survival and marksmen at any time. I have a lvl 64 DK named Tkdwarf. A side not, Fumanchuu was renamed about 2 weeks ago and used to be Tkdude. I used to be Fumanchu on Mal'Ganis before I transferred and I missed my old name. :-D
http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-f ... amageDone/
There are other Eden reports that you can look at, but this reflects my best and my true skill because wiping on Yogg 20 times a night does not reflect how well I play.
I have progression raided Ulduar since it came out and have a solid understanding of every encounter. The most difficult boss I’ve defeated from a hunters perspective would be General Vessax. Making sure to remove myself from any other players around me when I gain the Mark debuff is key. Watching other players for crash is extremely important too because there is no other way to tell where crash is going to hit unless you're paying 100% attention to the people around you. It’s very similar to Mirmiron in regards to staying alive, watching for events to avoid, and communicating directions in order to successfully defeat the boss. To me, all of these things are extremely basic, and to be honest, being a hunter in Ulduar is probably one of the easiest jobs.
I transferred to Scilla with Eden. They are a good guild with great members. The reason that I left was because of the leadership. Many decisions that were made that directly affected me were biased towards the friends of the guild officers and the constant struggle to communicate during raids in order to down bosses drove me to forget what it was like to have fun playing wow. I want a fun guild, which also gets shit done. Eden is a much older aged guild, and most of the members are in their mid 30’s. It was extremely difficult for me to fit in and feel like a part of the team. I understand that 3 months being in a guild is not an extremely long period of time, but not once did I feel like anybody in the guild truly cared if I was there or not. This feeling combined with extreme frustration made my decision to leave very easy for me. As for references, Luminayre and Lupykins are two of my close friends and talk about me straight up, Luminayre especially.
I separate myself by coming into every fight knowing exactly how the encounter works, and being able to adapt to any strategy that is put into play. Topping the charts is extremely important for a hunter, but what’s more important is staying alive and being active as much as possible. These two factors bring down bosses and help my damage.

I have looked at a couple of the higher end gulds on Scilla and you guys stuck out the most because of your website. I love how much fun it looks like you guys have and how laid back you are while still being a distinguished raiding guild. I especially loved the disclaimer at the bottom of the application page with a list of 8 things you will make fun of people for because that means that you are open with members and people can’t handle criticism, they have no business being in your guild. I want the kind of atmosphere you portray from your website. You guys look like a great fit for me and I hope that I can provide you with an asset to your raid team.
So I'm just coming off a 10-day vacation to find out my best employee and good friend quit for greener pastures. I will also have to fire another employee when I go back in to work tomorrow, for showing up late every day while I was gone. Unfortunately this means I will be unable to raid on Thursday night as I wont get home until about 10 server time.
As a heads up, this may very well impact my attendance for the next several weeks. I cant run my store with 2 employees while maintaining the schedule I made, to accommodate raid times. Just how much of an impact this will have on my raid attendance is unknown as of right now, so I will keep you guys posted.
In any case, these problems should be short term at best.
4. Any WWS or WMO links or other clear indication of your performance in a raid (recommended):
None. qq
5. We are a raiding guild and ended TBC top 200 US; it is expected you have raiding experience and know ALL fights you will be brought to. In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter you have ever defeated and why?:
Most difficult boss? hard to say. they're all easy once u learn what needs to be done(and people paying attention). I suppose Rag was though considering youre trying to coordinate 40 ppl. My guild then never got to Nef in BWL.
6. Previous guilds/servers and reason for leaving, also include any references we may contact:
Chaos(joined just due to 6 RL friends in the guild, however the guild couldnt down anything and made no progression through ulduar which angered me so i left)
Epiphany(couldnt down Ignis/Kologarn/Council in 10 man. and "druids cant wear cloth")
Blacklist(joined due to a friend asking me to and didnt know where else I would go. then i was on for raid time and they wouldnt let me go[having never been with their guild] so i said to hell with a guild who cant even get through ulduar much less not let me raid with them)

I've never met the druid who could outheal me, yet i keep looking for him. parts might be able 2. ive met 2 priests who could barely outheal me in ulduar and imo its due to their AOE heals. Shammy... no. One paladin ever(almanawl). yes i take pride in topping meters however i also take a lot of pride in having under 30% overhealing. it looks pretty awesome imo to be #1 in healing done and on the bottom for overhealing =P
9. Post a screenshot of your UI (Thumbnail Please) or a comprehensive list of mods that you use for raiding. ARE YOU A CLICKER?
DBM/Omen/Recount/Decursive(i have more but the important ones are only ones listed). clicker.. hehe. hell no.
10. If you have thoroughly answered the following questions and you are confident you are what we are looking for, you have a good chance of being trialed, but we'd like to know why you want to join us? What made you choose us over the other guilds out there?
Because whar is from what i've seen the best and i really want to progress(i also think im very capable of progressing). not to mention im sick of being in guilds with ppl who make the same mistakes over and over and over.
11. Add anything else you think we’d find interest, such as you’re a GM, you recorded WWS for your old guild, you were an officer or did assignments in a past guild, tracked DKP and distributed loot, or anything else noteworthy
In chaos i was asked to co-lead group 2 with packagedeal due to the fact me and a RL friend of mine (drifz a prot war) were able to put together a pug that downed every boss up to hodir/thorim. i only mention this because i got the members and lead the pug.
Last used it on Sunday night and now the blue screen wouldn't stop coming up every time I log in. Reason why I didn't log on wow on Monday. Hopefully it would be fixed before raid on Tuesday but there's a decent chance that i might not make it. Sorry for the inconvenience
1. Your age, gender, and time played: 21, Male, 37 days
2. List any alts and off specs you have gear for AND CAN PLAY COMPETENTLY: I have 4 80s on Scilla all are geared past Naxx 10, I have an 80 paladin, 80 warrior, and an 80 mage. All alts I can play very well, and have been playing them since Burning Crusade.
4. Any WWS or WMO links or other clear indication of your performance in a raid (recommended): I don't have a WWS account ..don't judge me please!
5. We are a raiding guild and ended TBC top 200 US; it is expected you have raiding experience and know ALL fights you will be brought to. In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter you have ever defeated and why?: Hogger was extremely hard for my guild to tackle, I think it took us 3 months to finally down him, he had so much trash that surrounded him, it was really chaotic. No, but seriously the most the boss that I found to be the most difficult was Magtheridon before the nerf, i'm not sure the reason really, I think it was because people were not smart enough to click the boxes at the right time when he was about to cast. But a week later we got him down.
6. Previous guilds/servers and reason for leaving, also include any references we may contact:
I have been in Chaos since we transferred from Shadowmoon(PvP). I had been with them for a bout 2 years, my reasons for leaving were not bitter towards them, I just decided my goals were different from theirs. I then joined Blacklist as more of a hopeful standpoint that they would pick-up where Chaos left off, but i'm seeing the same trend, no one wants to raid... So I have been talking to Mortesk a lot in game, met him in several PUGs that I lead and he said I should think about applying to WLPH.
7. It is assumed you will be available from 8-12 ST (Server Time is EST) Sunday through Thursday. If you can’t, please explain why you couldn't make our scheduled raid times (or why you even bothered applying):
Well idk about raiding Sunday, not that i'm a religious nut-job but I work all day on Sundays. But for Monday-Thursday I can make the selected raid times.
8. Explain what specifically puts you at the top? We raid to be at the top and expect it of all our members. Do you take pride in topping meters, never letting the tank die, never pulling aggro, etc.? What separates you from the rest? Be specific, this will be a major indicator of the kind of player you are:
Well, as far as being a really good dps in raids, I try to be the top dog in the raid but at the same time I have Omen for a reason, i try to guage myself so I don't overdps. But I make sure i'm putting out the recommended amount of dps in a raid, I know how to play my class/spec very well, and I always try to be in the top 5 no matter what, and if I am not, then I messed up. But I usually fight to be in the top 5.
9. Post a screenshot of your UI (Thumbnail Please) or a comprehensive list of mods that you use for raiding. ARE YOU A CLICKER? I'm not good at photo-shop but I can list the mods I use in raids.

10. If you have thoroughly answered the following questions and you are confident you are what we are looking for, you have a good chance of being trialed, but we'd like to know why you want to join us? What made you choose us over the other guilds out there?
I would like to join you guys because I have a few friends already in WLPH, and just through speculation I've witnessed that you guys really know how to raid, i'm fascinated by your raiding techniques and how you run raids. I like your loot system, I think it keeps people in line, make them show up for raids with no if's and's or but's. I thought about apping to other guilds but Boss is corrupt, Brethren is crazy, etc... I'm looking for a balance of fun and seriousness built into one.
11. Add anything else you think we’d find interest, such as you’re a GM, you recorded WWS for your old guild, you were an officer or did assignments in a past guild, tracked DKP and distributed loot, or anything else noteworthy
In my old guild, in Chaos, I was an Officer and CL for Druids/Warriors...(my warrior used to be my main). Towards the end of my run with Chaos I was unofficially a Raid Leader for Naxx 25 and Ulduar 10. I have extensive knowledge of many fights in the game. I did not raid Pre-BC.
