So, like I said, running a cord along the floor is not really an option. It would go out my office and down a hall that runs in front of Angel's room, in front of Angel's bathroom, in front of the laundry room, across the top of the main stairway, and literally from one corner of the living room to the diagonally opposite corner. Discounting the fact that it would have to cross two separate doorways, it would look fucking terrible unless I started tearing up carpet.

Also, when I said it was about 35 feet before, that was a direct line through walls. A hardwire cord would have to be at least 50 feet.

This is my house. Not some one studio apartment. Foreign concept, I know.

I would happily pay $250 for a set top box, but no one seems to fucking make them.

As in, buy a second thousand dollar, 51-inch TV and set it on my desk instead of a normal monitor. If it didn't come through in my post, I'll go ahead and spell it out - I was being sarcastic.
