Ivy Bridge launch

Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge - $249.99

And if you want to spend $999 for a GPU, the NVIDIA GTX 690 will be available May 3rd

Whats the difference between Ivy vs Sandy

[Crazy Diana]

So why is Ivy Bridge hot?

Intel is using TIM paste between the Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) and the CPU die on Ivy Bridge chips, instead of fluxless solder.

Whats the difference between Ivy vs Sandy

Ivy has faster channels, onboard graphics processor directly on the CPU die, but is more of an integration thing for mobile and business class workstations than a gaming item.

It will be cool when people start using the multi gpu architecture more to have smoother running user experiences inside the operating systems.
