When buying a power supply you need to look at the efficiency, less efficiency power supplies put off more heat, so if you have 800 watt power supply at 78% efficiency its going to be a hot mother fucker and put out inconsistent power ( good for rng, less good for computing ^_- )

Yeah, after all the issues Ive had with my current computer overheating and such, having a way of keeping things nice and cool was pretty high on my list of priorities. That's probably the main reason I'm going with that particular case. Six case fans in conjunction with with the 3 others (2x gfx cards, and 1x PSU) ought to keep things at a reasonable temperature without having to look at a liquid cooling solution.
Funny though, after all that, I looked at a few more benchmarks... Probably going to go with an i7 920, different Motherboard and RAM. The total difference is only about $95, which isn't a hell of a lot for the additional performance gain.
The bitch of it all, of course... is that by the time Ive bought all the individual pieces and get ready to put it together I could probably do better for the same amount of money. Computers to me, are like fucking Pokemon to my kid... by the time I have what I want, all the new shit is coming out or dropping in price. I might just delay gratification and save the money, as opposed to buying the parts separately and see what I can get in a few months time.
Speaking of liquid cooling... I stumbled on this and lol'd. I must admit, looks cool as fuck. Just couldnt bring myself to do it though.

Nice.
On a side note... I dont know how you can stand having your computer positioned like that. Used to have my desk set up in the same fashion (window behind the monitor) but I found that if I was playing during the day I got wicked headaches from the light difference. heh
lol, is that a short-wave radio you have there?
